Dorothea "Coco“ Fletcher – "Tina Turner”

Coco Fletcher is the most versatile artist of the “Stars in Concert“ show – she manages to present to perfection two significant singers in musical history, both visually and musically. She captivates the audience with her convincing interpretations of Whitney Houston and Tina Turner so that they constantly wonder “Is that not the real one?” ... more Coco Fletcher comes from Huntsville (Alabama) and has been at home in show business for more than ten years in genres as diverse as rock, pop, jazz and blues. Appearances with many well-known musicians such as Little Milton and Bobby Womack took her first to Las Vegas and finally to Berlin. In September 1997 she was one of the first cast of “Stars in Concert“. In 1999, she was given the leading role in the revue “Elements“ at Friedrichstadtpalast. After that engagement she returned to “Stars in Concert“ and has had great success every night. She demonstrates her stunning talent and her unbelievable versatility when impersonating Tina Turner. With the distinct timbre of her voice, her extraordinary outfits and a performance bursting with energy, she brings the great rock diva on to the stage. However, as soon as she slips into the role of Whitney Houston, the wild rock singer is no longer noticeable: dressed in a black evening gown she then sings “I Will Always Love You“ and the audience turn the showroom into a sea of sparklers. less
